if there is material folders to categorize materials will be great! as the material library is in a mess after importing different models in. hoping to have this soon!!! please

in V8 the materials can be searched and filtered, and you have the ability to add tags to materials. Did you try that out already?
yes, tried the tag and filtered function, but it is different than the folder format which can be easily categorize and find what you want instantly.

I could use the ability to create sub folders in Materials. I use xFrog flowers and all the texture/image assignments come in as separate textures. There could be hundreds depending on the different varieties in the model. Those don’t change and I don’t need to scroll through them to find materials attached to hard products in the scene.
