Match curve doesn't work against arcs?

Starting out with this shape of tangent arcs:

I now want to match the red segments so that they are curvature instead:

But the result is this:

Geometric Continuity reports:

So, they started out as tangent, and after the match it’s now positional. Is this another example of Rhino not working well with rational things? I think there should at least be some sort of warning here, and not just a silent fail… (also, not just an “out of tolerance” warning, but a why as well, since in this case, the reason is rational to non-rational matching?)

Which version of Rhino are you running? I’m on 7.11.21264.11001, 2021-09-21 and I get:

This seems to work fine here so far.

I get repeatable, inconsistent results. For example:

OK, thanks, I’ll dig some more - so far I get repeatable g2 ness…

In a new session of Rhino - I cannot get G2 even once - something clearly wrong here - thanks, y’all.
