Manipulating a surface in both directions

Hello,

For an assignment at university, I have parametrically design a roof above a square in Delft.

Firstly, a point grid is created. This is divided into 8 curves, which are then manipulated using a graphmapper. This results in transformations in the ‘short’ y-direction of the roof. The ‘long’ x-side however stays at the same height, but I want to manipulate this as wel.

I have tried using number sliders for the 8 curves, and then the graphmapper for the manipulation along these curves. After the graphmapper and remap, the number sliders for the 8 curves had no effect anymore. See attached print screens for the old and new Grasshopper scripts.

The question: how can I build in the control I had with the number sliders to manipulate the curves, and also keep the graphmapper? In other words: I want the long side to be wavy as well.

Hope you can help!!

Kind regards,

Rick

I don’t know if this is the solution you’re asking for.
