Hello, I’m trying to use the Makehole command with direction = normal to curve, with the surface being a sphere. Originally, the curve was directly on the sphere, but I could not control the depth and even if I specify it, the hole would penetrate the entire sphere. Instead, I moved the curve slightly off the sphere and tried again. This time it deletes the sphere and keeps the ‘inverse’ of the hole, but uses the correct depth FWIW. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi Pascal, if I use “both sides” then I am able to set the depth. I didn’t save the original file, but here is a screenshot of the “inverse” hole.
