And leave the top, front, and side elevations as they are..
Not using make 2d, but you can use layouts and get the results you want.
You can even combine layouts with your make 2d. You could use each of your standard make2d views in a layout detail and then use the perspective view as another detail. Or render to file or screen grab the perspective view and import that as a picture plane and use that in a layout detail.
I think Mary has some newer tutorials on the subject but these hopefully will get you started.

My biggest weakness right now seems to be layouts, and all the terminology with dimensions!! Practice and perfect it, I guess!
I will definitely watch the video, even if I already have in the past.
