Dear both, please see the attached video. After Make2D calculates the hidden lines, the layer panel refreshes wildly. This demo uses a small model. With bigger models, this can take longer than the actual calculation. With a current project it is at around 10 minutes. This makes Make2D very hard to use.
Unfortunately I cannot share the file. I think the problem is exacerbated the more worksession files and linked blocks are loaded.
@rajaa - can you look into this?
Are you using Make2D or creating layers to output HLD result in your code?
@rajaa This is the standard Make2D command with Maintain source layers
Hi @dale, I tested in Rhino 8, the layers are not flashing. But I noticed a large speed difference, the same model and view take in Rh7 116 sec., in Rh8 917 sec.
Can you share a model to help us test with?
