I suggest make2d could be improved a little. I have made an outline of the function what it could ultimately be capable of.
For better visualization i insert this snipp from the rhino:
This is the outline of functionality which i find to be really progressive. Would allow more control over the output and section view along curve would be really great. I have done something myself in the grasshopper but native is native.
The example when you want to make2d from objects but some objects you need just for intersection, the loading gauge in this case.
