Make2D - I don't want to have the view crop

When I do make 2D, it crops out the drawing with its view frame that I ran the command in.

For some files, when I do make 2D with a really zoomed-in view of a model, it generates a drawing of the whole model even though some parts of it weren’t in the view I was in to run the command. This is because I select the whole model in a top view first, for example, and go into perspective view to zoom in to make sure I get the details I want the drawing to have for a specific area. However, for some random files, when I do the same thing, Rhino doesn’t generate the whole view of the model. It crops out the drawing with its view frame that I ran the command in. I tried to copy and paste the model I want to extract a drawing from into a brand new Rhino file to see if that’ll allow me to do make 2D of a full model, but it didn’t work.

I don’t know why this is happening, and I don’t know how to fix it. I’ve already done some research online, but I couldn’t find the answer. It would be great if someone could help me out with this problem.
