Hi,
I’m having trouble with Make2D in my Top view to export Floor Plan. I followed all the steps but when I hit enter nothing happens. I’ve tried with the other views and they are producing 2D drawings fine. Any ideas why this is happening? Thanks.

When you start a new Rhino document from a default template, and only create a simple box, does Make2D work for you from the top view then?

Hi Wim, yes when I tried that it generated the 2D drawing just fine.
When I went back to my old file and tried again, this is what I applied. Again, nothing happened, a tiny box popped up and said nothing geometry found, nothing done.
I have an assignment due soon, is it ok if we try teamviewer or something to sort this out? Thanks.
And I tried creating a simple box next to this object, Make2D doesn’t work in Top view either 
is the Make2d result being obscured by a clipping plane?
Do you have any bad objects in the file? please run the SelectBadObjects command.

Hi again Japhy, when I tried to do it myself just now the Make2D drawing comes out from the roof and not cut at 1500mm as I set the clipping plane to be. How can I make the cut there?
You got this! just remember that the result will be hiddent in the views with active clipping planes.
