Hey folks!
Could you please help me understand how the joints in the Morpheus hotel exoskeleton is created (in gh)? In particular (1) continuity of the N-sided surface and (2) continuity of the bounding (lofted?) surfaces (I’m trying to get G2 if possible)
I watched the part around The Morpheus Hotel: From Design to Production: Live Webinar on Vimeo a few times now but still haven’t figured it out.
Thanks a lot!
Hello
I am perhaps mistaken but I don’t think that there is G2 everywhere.
By design there is G2 or G3 … on top and bottom as it uses a same surface.
On the lateral part if I remember well it is clearly stated that it uses circle to make the “fillets” and as some part are straight it is G1. A line connected to a circle is as best G1.
I wrote a code long time ago (7 years) to replicate this. I surely still have the GH but I am not sure it works (R5 !!)

Thanks a lot for your help! It seems your script (as well as the one in the Facebook permalink you shared) was gone but, I have a good start now with the detailed description in your project and the papers you linked.
It still works, here for a sphere and with some outdated code.
You can look at one node
