Make Rhino wait on input of custom clipping plane depth

Hi,
just a thought here.
Would it be a good idea to let Rhino wait (meaning add a timedelay) when entering a value for the custom depth of a clipping plane?
I work with large architectural models and each time I enter a value for each key stroke the plane starts to recalculate the model, meaning I will see the result for 5, 50, 500 and finally 5000 mm, though I just wanna quickly input the number and see the final result.

This is very annoying and a similar thing happens when entering text values on annotation dots.
