Make 2D progress not updating

While in the Make 2D command (with a detailed model) I can see the command working with regard to which view it’s currently processing but the progress bar remains at zero?

I can see the views being punted out, wouldn’t it be a good idea for the progress bar to at least report incremental progress based on 4x views at 25% each?

Just a thought. I walked away and came back but wasn’t sure if it had hung - love the fact that you can still move around the model space and look at the views as they are being produced :smiley:

Hi Andy - I guess the progress is per view right now, not overall progress. @rajaa - is that correct?

Hi Pascal,

So far it was just zero until the command finished. I noticed it had done three views but hadn’t moved and then I was out of the room by the time it had completed.

Oh… that sounds wrong. Is this the case with any run at Make2D or just with a very detailed scene?

Very strange. I came back after a run and had another go but it seems to be reporting a percentage now however I did get this window (attached)

This wasn’t after a restart either. It’s odd because I triple checked with the detailed model and with a simple set of cylinders.

I’ll keep and eye on it and see if it does it again and in the meantime update my display drivers
