MAJOR performance issues (slow) in layout mode for sections and elevations / plans views are OK

Good afternoon!

I am experiencing major performance issues in layout mode for sections and elevations. It is simply impossible to move / zoom / add information without major lag time.

For some reason, the plans in layout mode do not have this issue.

here are the results of the TestMaxSpeed for various layouts:

  • “UG” layout (basic plan view)

Time to regen viewport 100 times = 7.23 seconds. (13.82 FPS)

  • “SCHNITT” layout (basic section view)

Time to regen viewport 100 times = 114.59 seconds. (0.87 FPS)

  • “NS” layout (basic elevation view)

Time to regen viewport 100 times = 113.88 seconds. (0.88 FPS)

I have the same problem. At first, I thought it could be my VRAM but after I upgraded it still lags exactly like yours when in section layout. This issue is seriously slowing down my workflow. Hope this can be fixed soon.

Hi @hoganjasonlee1,
We have improved the performance of VisualARQ when working with sections in the 2.11 version. I’ll share an internal version of it privately, so you can test it out.
