Latest Rhino 8 version here on MAC.
What is happening with layer panel? It drives me crazy, I cannot do simple work.
Changing layer name, changing color, right click in general…
What exactly are you experiencing?
I remember the layer palette being buggy in Rhino 8 for macOS a couple of months ago. It used to completely crash, rendering it unresponsive. That seems resolved? I haven’t encountered any major issues since.
We’ll need more information - a reliable way to reproduce whatever bothers you is always the most helpful.
The source code behind the Layers panel has not changed in many months?
Did you recently upgrade to macOS Tahoe?

It is Mac Sequoia, after restarting rhino and computer, the interface changed to black and i can right click on layers again 
A simple right click on layers were not working at all.
@diff-arch Now I cannot replicate this issue no more.
Let’s close this strange issue…
