Looking for volunteers to try out new UI for FillSrf

The sliders are the ones that have a limited range and distinct settings, the settings where I opted for spinners don’t have distinct settings and/or fixed range, and are a little easier to type into.

In Dark Mode, the text boxes should show white characters, but they don’t.

thanks for reporting.
RH-88337 Spinner colors are off

I can’t set angle tolerance smaller than 0.1.
Is that intended?

I’ll fix that for the next WIP, the angle tolerance will then be 0.01 minimum
RH-88600 Patch: cannot set angle tolerance below 0.1

RH-88600 is fixed in Rhino WIP

Plot twist, Rhino devs watching timelapses of people modelling stuff on Youtube to “stalk” how users use the software to make it better was something that was not on my bingo card for 2026 :stuck_out_tongue:

I still don’t like the new style toggles.
Especially when similar functionality looks different:

Or all checkboxes become toggles.

1E+03 = 1000

Then why* not write 1000 (10000, 100000)?
I find this more readable.

Because of the up/down control?

@Charles 1000 looks a bit more friendly than1E+03, but for me 10000 is about the limit before it becomes harder to read. numbers smaller than 1 are converted to scientific notation only after 0.0001, so I suspect we could do the same for numbers >1.

Or like this

1E+6 = 1000000

= 1.000.000
= 1,000,000
= 1 000 000

This should be an option to be honest, having it with thousand separator or scientific notation.

I have hours of that on my YouTube channel glad i could help :joy:
