Long time to generate crash log, won't start

Just mentioning this as its annoying.

Ok, for inexplainable reasons Rhino hangs it self once in a while but Im frankly used to it now. Last time I was just adding a 100kB png to something and the whole thing got stuck. So I force quit. But then it takes a very very long time for Rhino to generate the crash report and it refuse to start while this is happening. It took 5-10 minutes.

Very anoying. This was also the case in Rhino 6 btw. But Rhino 7 is crashing much more for me. Seems to take much bigger toll on my Mac.

Hi - could you run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste the result here?
Also, are you sending in the crash reports when they appear?
-wim

Not really because it happens twice a day. Here is the system info:

Hi -

Is there any pattern to this? A specific file in which it happens more frequently than in others?
Please send in crash reports - without specific steps to reproduce an issue, a crash report might give a clue about what’s happening.
-wim

No, unfortunately not. No specific pattern. Just get the spinning ball a lot.

Can I find the latest crash report somewhere?

Hi -

No, those are deleted from the machine after the dialog box is closed.
-wim

I admit to having many crashes and much ball spinning with my Rhino 7 too.
I have reverted to using 5 instead.
Will try the next update.

Hi, paid more attention to this but I don;t seem to be getting the crash report window. It takes a long time before I get the message up in the right corner (mac notifications) that Rhino has crashed and a report will be available in a few minutes (!!!). But nothing happens. After a while I’m able to start Rhino again.
