Lofting a Curve

I am trying to recreate an old door within the rhino program and am trying to loft two curves so that I can make it into a surface, however the loft is ending up incorrectly. What makes it strange is that I was able to successfully complete other curved lofts within the model. Below are the curves I am trying to upload as well as what it looks like when lofted. I have also attached other successful lofts that I am trying to recreate. Sorry if this doesn’t make sense, it is a bit of a ramble.

I have played around with the loft settings and am not getting it correct.

Accidentally had two of the same photos, here is the other.

if you are allowed/able to share the file I recommend that. I know it’s not always possible.

This might be a situation where you can use PlanarSrf. The result will be a trimmed surface I believe.

Yes planar srf worked! thank you very much

Are you using the Rebuild with option in Loft? If so then rebuilding with too few points can produce results like you are getting.

PlanarSrf using the input curves. is a good solution if the curves are planar and a trimmed surface is acceptable.

Another method is to use Sweep2.
Draw at least one line between the pairs of curves.
Sweep2 using the curves as the rails, the point option at ends and the straight line(s) as the sections.
If needed use the the Add Slash option how the surface is created between the rails.
