Is there a command that will allow me to lock a surface so that it cannot be untrimmed?
When sending surfaces to vendors/clients/subs I often want to avoid allowing them full inherent knowledge to the base surface, for IP reasons. Often I have to rebuild the trimmed surface to ensure this, but it takes time.
I’ve searched through Help and Forum topics with no luck.
Hello- the only way that I know of to have a little protection is to send the client a mesh version of the file. If they need surfaces, as far as I know there is nothing you can do apart from shrinking them.
