How can I upload a 3D model of my lamp to my website so that customers can test light and shadows in their own 3D drawings, but without being able to copy the geometry.
Can I Lock the geometry ?
Rhino 3DM files are “wide open” and cannot be password protected. So I don’t have too many suggestions for you.
If you don’t want your customer editing your model consider uploading some format other than 3DM. A mesh format such as OBJ or STL would make more difficult to edit, but not impossible.
