Local Rhino.compute 8 does not find installed Rhino

I am using Rhino 8 for a long time now on my machine.

I followed the guide for debugging compute locally.

The following error arises :

Since my goal is just to test compute locally, I’ve then tried to run it from Hops GH plugin.
Pressing the “Child Process Count” spawn button does not open any compute terminal window as I would expect.

I have downloaded Rhino 8 latest version and made a repair installation, then rebooted my PC. No success. Any suggestion ? Should I try completely de-installing and re-installing ?
