Linking polysurfaces from one file to another?

Hello- I am CNC routing cabinet parts for van conversions. All the cabinet components are both in a 3D model and in a 2D layout for CNC routing. Occasionally, I have to revise dimensions in the 3D model and then update the revised components in the 2D layout file.

Is it possible to link the individual components so that if I make design changes in the 3D model, the 2D layout is also updated?

I think is not possible in plain Rhino since is not parametric.
