Linked Element Orientation?

I’m working with linked Revit elements that have a different origin than our internal Revit model (we’re opting to model at 0,0,0 rather than far from the origin as the other models are). Because of this, in referencing elements at their native locations within their file, they are located away from our origin within our RIR workflow. I was reminded of this Linked Geometry Orientation process as described in the image below, but it only appears to work for Element Geometry and not the elements themselves. My hope was to move the Elements (at least their virtual representation) and do any manipulation in downstream workflows from there. Instead, it appears the only realistic workflow is to move the element geometry while retaining all metadata and parameters from the Elements themselves in a divorced location. One issue I can see is in extracting centerlines, base points, any elevation data, which might now differ between originally-located Element and the modified Geometry. Any thoughts here? Would it be conceptually possible to move the virtual location of the elements from a linked model?

Thanks for the idea, @MSAwan . I gave it a shot, but unfortunately because it’s a linked model, I can’t manipulate the elements.

I believe with this you can relocate the whole linked model not an individual element.
