Hello, I’d like to know the best way to draw a chain link (jewelry) and have it follow a curve I’ve drawn, which will be the outline of the neck.
I want to draw the link and have different curves (paths) to illustrate the necklace in different positions. Thank you in advance.
Check out Flow Along Curve (Flow command).
Good luck!
Thanks, using ‘Flow’ works, but I think I wasn’t clear in my question, sorry. Do I need to create the total length of the necklace or is there some command that repeats a single link along the way?
Flow and Flow Along Curve are the same command, right?

Although not directly applicable to your question you might find this 10 year old thread very interesting:
We came across this a couple of times also in older posts, but those were primarily focused on getting the shape rendered.
Now we are back in using the hose a bit more, and needing different shapes, but keep running into the fact that is extremely heavy.
I uploaded the file so those who might have any ideas could take a look, both the two curves used to make it and the results I’ve gotten are in there.

I hope anyone has got a good idea how to get a sha…

Don’t worry no offence taken I will keep trying with it, was really just hoping there was something I was missing.
it’s amazing what you can come up with by searching this discourse with a bit of imagination of search terms.
