"Link" first letter typed to always the same command

Hi

Is it possible to “link” the first letter to a command so that it’s always the first in the list and can be activated with enter right away?
To have the behavior like this:

Letter “C” → linked to “copy”
→ type c + enter → command copy activated

In the same way:
Type d + enter → command linear dimensions is activated
Type l + enter → command poly line is activated
Type t + enter → command trim is activated
…

So not always the whole command needs to be typed out.
(It’s how I use it in AutoCAD)

Have a look in Options>Aliases. There are some standard ones in there, you can change those if you want and add any others. If you have an an alias and you type it and Enter, it takes precedence over other commands. It actually works just like AutoCAD AFAIK.
