Lines on a subd

i projected the circle onto the subd surface. How can i make the circle a surface i can select?

you’d have to delete faces then add and edit the subd topology to match that opening. Or finish up the model, make that part from nurbs, and then convert the subd to nurbs and finish the model that way-
