Is there any way to have the target anchor be any point on a line or curve; allowing the anchor to slide as more or less load is applied to a form?
Yes - to keep points on orthogonal lines you can use the AnchorXYZ Goal to lock only chosen axes.
To keep them on more general curves, use the OnCurve Goal.
