Line Segments Tool & CloseCrv Command

Hello,
I recently jumped into Rhino as I mostly use Inventor for 3D modelling. I was following Rhino Level 1 Training guide and there is an exercise where I have to draw a line with Line Segments Tool and then to close it with Close command.

As there is no Close command I guess it is referring to Close Crv, if I am not wrong. Though CloseCrv is not closing the shape and returns the message “6 curves not closed”. On the other hand it works as indented with Polyline tool.

Am I missing something here?

I attach a screenshot of the Guide and the file in Rhino.

Thanx in advance.

Hi @Thomas_Liokos
The “Close” option is an in-command option, that lets you close the polyline without going “back” to the starting point. While you are still inside the Line command, look at the command prompt.

Thank you very much Jacob.

I was hitting enter and then trying to close it using CloseCrv cause Close wasn’t even appearing. Now I got it.
