I am trying to model point load on a lightpole that is firmly fixed at the base in all directions to simulate a constant load both in the x direction and the Z direction (in addition to its own weight)
I want to find the failure point of the sections and change them to design this to withstand the loads + a shock load factor of 2.
I thought this would be a great start to a bigger project. Understand the methodolgy of these components is challenging.

How can I use a Euler analysis for compression loads, ie the product of modulus of elasticity and moment of inertia.
