Lightpipe simulation in Rhino?

I vaguely remember there was some solution (script/plugin?) to see the light dispersion of light-pipe geometry in Rhino. Is that a thing? or I dreamed about it?

I’m working on a product that has some polycarbonate parts and I want to see where to place LEDs on the PC board and see how they will light up the PC outer surface using light-pipes.

Any ideas?



i only know bounce. its a simple geometry solution to show which angles it bounces off. you would have to make a manual array of beams, not sure if that can help you.
