License Issue after upgrading to PackageManager version

Hello,

We recently uninstalled Karamba and installed via the Rhino7 PackageManager. Our pro license worked fine initially, however today we cannot access the license using the same method we have for a while. Is there potentially a new license we need for Rhino 7? The one we have was for Rhino 6.

Hi, we are still testing the Yak installer and it seems to have some issues with the network license.

You need to make sure to have the latest network license package.

At the moment the workaround that we found is to copy the licensePRO.lic file and public.key file that is installed in Karamba into this folder: C:\Karamba3D\License. The licensePRO.lic file can be found in your license package and the public.key file can be found in C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Roaming\McNeel\Rhinoceros\packages\7.0\karambaGH\2.2.0.3\License

There is also a final step where you need to complete to find the Karamba3Dgetlicense command: This can be found in C:\ProgramData\Karamba3D. This involves locating the Karamba3D_LicensePlugin_Rhino7.rhp file.

After copying the files you should be able to call the license with “karamba3dgetlicense”.
