Leader capsule frame oddities

Rh8 SR16
The position of the capsule in realtion to the line is based on two values. Although the lower value is greyd out, when “Horizontal to view” is selected, the greyd-out value still affects the result.

In this file I have 3 different styles, so you can see the difference.

THere’s also something weird happening with this one, which I cannot get rid of, or replicate. It is copied from another file, so there might be some historical baggage in that object.

EDIT:
I was also able to copy this weird leader from another file, but unable to replicate this.

Hi Toni -

I’m not sure what the question is here or what you are suggesting should be changed.
Note that the position of the capsule is only related to the position of the text. It’s the position of the text that is controlled by those settings. Since this has behaved like this since Rhino 6, I’m sure there is someone out there that depends on being able to control this this way.

Unless you are suggesting that the fields shouldn’t be grayed out? I guess that would make sense.

That’s probably RH-84955 Annotation: Capsule Error When Model Scaling

I think I was aiming for the point that a grayed out value should not affect the result. Or, at least that’s how I read the UI - that the tick overrides the pull down menu. And was surprised to realise that the un-enabled value actually affects the result quite drastically.
