For the life of me I cant make Raytraced View work on a Layout page. It says its counting cycles, but everytime i print to pdf or jpeg, it just comes out in rendered view.

raytraced mode and layout is troublesome ATM as there is no way to “freeze” a layout in raytrace mode. It just keeps wanting to cycle every time you add a dimension or annotation.
A workaround would be to make 2d, then render the view. then import the rendering as a picture and make a layered image with the 2d on top of the picture. That way you can dimension things and get the raytraced art together in your layout.
This is a cludgy workaround I know, but it’ll get you there until we come up with a better solution.
