Layout duplicate error

Hi,
Please look at the attached snippets of Rhino 6 latest release.
My Layout contains one rendered viewport of the front elevation of the scene
When I reposition the ‘live’ viewport then double click out of it onto the layout page I get this ‘ghosted’ double image - a combination of the previous rendered view and the repositioned one. It is a ghost of the previous position as I’ve experimented with this.
It doesn’t show in the live viewport but only on the page layout.
It also appears on all print formats.

Thank you for any thoughts.

Tried uninstalling gpu driver (1080ti) and rolling back

Hello - by this do you mean you are moving the view inside the active detail or moving objects, or?

-Pascal

Thanks for the reply Pascal,

So this is my process -

Open Rhino
Load the document
Click on Page 1 tab - which is a layout template with 1 viewport - in this instance, the front view
Make the viewport ‘live’ by left button double clicking in it
Right button click and hold then drag the view to a different position

It’s this last process that seems to cause the problem - when I then left button double click to ‘kill’ the viewport and return it back to it’s ‘page layout’ state this reveals the ‘ghost image’ or original position of the view before the right button hold and drag.

I hope this makes sense and thank you for any advice.

Hi David - thanks, that is what I understood was likely it, but it does not happen here so far. If possible please send (as small/simple as possible) an example file that shows this to tech@mcneel.com to my attention - please also include a link back to this topic in your comments - I have a feeling it will be hard to reproduce what you have so getting it direct will be helpful, I hope.
Please also run SystemInfo in Rhino and copy/paste the results here.

-Pascal

Thanks Pascal,
I’ve sent in the .3dm file by email and here is the systeminfo stuff.
