When you first select a layer, you get this annoying black rectangular border that adds nothing but noise to the interface.
If you move the mouse over the viewport, the border goes away.
It comes back every time one selects a layer, or even renames a layer with F2.
It also appears when you add new layers.
By clicking on another part of the interface you can also get its other annoying variant, which is border without highlight.
The worst thing is, it is not even a coherent border, for the lower edge seems to have a slightly lower line weight than the other edges.
Can we completely remove this useless border from the UI? Thanks!
