I have been using Rhino for the last six months, using it on my laptop and on my extended screen. The software worked whether I was on the laptop or on the extended screen.
Yesterday, all of a sudden (but I think I got a Rhino update that day), the layers panel does not work on the extended screen, but it does on my laptop. In fact, even if I use Rhino on the extended screen, but leave the layers panel on my laptop, the panel works. But again, will not work if on the extended screen.

This sounds like a display/windowing issue with Rhino after an update. Since the Layers panel works on your laptop screen but not your extended screen, even when Rhino itself is on the extended screen, the problem is likely related to how Rhino interacts with your specific multi-monitor setup. Try restarting Rhino and your computer. Check Rhino’s display settings for multi-monitor options and try loading a different workspace. Update your graphics drivers as outdated drivers are often the culprit for display glitches. Verify your OS display settings, especially screen resolution, arrangement, and scaling consistency across both screens. If possible, test with a different extended monitor. If all else fails, reinstall Rhino. If the issue persists, contact Rhino support, as a recent update may have introduced a bug.
