Hows it going guys. Just a quick note for Rhino 7. It would be really nice if there was a layer search bar in Rhino 7. Some of the projects my team and I work on get out of hand fast. If there was a way we could have a layer search bar within Rhino that would be really helpful. Keep up the awesome work !!

this might help. i’ve requested a search field at the top of the layers window, i don’t like that this is hidden and it take some extra cick. it’d be nice if it was right there to type in. if you go down to filter you’ll get a dialog you can search in.
I 100% agree the filter text box should be visible and accessible permanently without having to click each time!!!

Does anyone know, was this added to a Rhino 7 update? The seach box at the top of the layer window panel. It appears that it is in Rhino 8 but I have also seen in the Rhino 7 Search Help that it was added to and the Help says in red “New Rhino 7”. We have Rhino 7 at work, I thought I was up to date but i do not see it.
No, it was not.
The search bar first appeared on the Layers panel in Rhino 8.
