Layer and Properties panel

We are developing a plugin using C#. But while invoking the FindComponent method from NodeInCode namespace, the layers and Properties panel disappears.

Any inputs for this?

This is the method we are using to pull components from Grasshopper.
Whenever we call this method, the layers and properties panel disappear.
