I agree about the buying versus renting topic. A perpetual license is so much better.

As for the video presentations, I watched your videos, but they are sped-up significantly and I can’t see the actual process step by step, as well as the real time saved by the plug-in. This could be confusing for your potential buyers, because they are not familiar with the workflow in the same way as you.

If you take a look at another plug-in called “Cyberstrak” and especially its YouTube channel, all the functionality it offers is well presented by numerous videos at real speed that give the users a better opportunity to feel the actual use case with the tools it provides.

Thank you for your interest and valuable feedback!

  1. To fit the presentation videos within a 1-minute limit, most of the footage was edited at 2x to 5x speed. We will definitely prepare real-time, step-by-step workflow videos as you suggested.

  2. Regarding the licensing, Poodle’s architecture is separated into a client and a server.

  3. The distributed client sends information to our server, which processes the heavy calculations and sends the results back.

  4. Because of this continuous server operation, a perpetual license is technically and operationally impossible.

  5. We strictly adopted this architecture to ensure the security of our core morphing algorithm.
