Is there a way to lighten a heavy model? I imported an IFC model from Revit into Rhino.

Hi Eric - there are a couple of things to try-

  • If there are a lot of meshes -Join as many individual meshes together into a smallest number of meshes -ideally one - that you can.

  • Set the display mode (Display panel) to use the BBox Display - this will cause the objects’ display to degrade to bounding boxes during view changes,

Also, you might try the V6/WIP build, it should be faster.
