Land design - topography alters the absolute ground elevations

Hello,

We would like to report an issue with the software. After using the excavation or fill command, the topography unexpectedly alters the absolute ground elevations. We would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and provide an update on a possible solution.

Thank you in advance,

It seems so weird! Could you please send us the 3dm file?
I guess there might be another terrain superposed.
Please send it to rhinolands@asuni.com

if you change the elevation to 0.00 it come back to the correct absolute numbers

That’s an intended behavior. The elevation on earth of the Rhino coordinate origin is taken into account, and added to the z value of the output contour curve so that the label shows the absolute elevation above the see level.

I guess thet when values changed after adding a cut&fill you had also changed the geolocation values (directly or by importing data from earth).
