Lag when I drag (And for other commands)

Hello,

I have a recurring problem that some Commands have a big lag when being displayed in the command column.
Sometimes it’s possible to perform other operations during that time, sometimes not.
This video shows how I want to drag a small jpg that is placed with a “picture frame”.
The scene contains nothing else apart from the donut and the pipe below it.

(It’s a MBP i7 Quadcore with discrete gfx)

Any ideas?

Thanks for sending along the video. That’s odd.

I’m unable to reproduce this on my machine (MBP, macOS High Sierra 10.13.3, Rhino 5.4)

Can you please provide some additional information? Please navigate to Rhinoceros > About Rhinoceros > More info… > Copy to clipboard and paste the content back into a reply here.

Hey, fortunately that extreme lag is not always the case, however it’s always taking a bit too long. copied the info below…

I would be curious to see if you get different performance when you boot macOS to Safe Mode. You have a number of third-party kernel extensions loaded. Booting to Safe Mode will not load those extensions. It would be good to rule those out.
