Kiwi 3d - shell element with holes

I’m trying to find the shape of a bent shell in Kiwi w/ a load displacement curve. The simulation runs fine using non-linear analysis for the surface without any holes in it. When I add holes, the simulation doesn’t give proper results. I’ve tried increasing the surface refinement some, but rather than just guessing and waiting for results, I thought I’d reach out.

This is the result with no holes:

This is the result w/ holes:

I’m open to doing this with kangaroo (or any other way), also, if it’s faster and easier.

Here is the grasshopper file:

Thanks in advance!

Hello. I’m not a developer of Kiwi, but I suspect Kiwi does not support trimmed surfaces (i.e., holes).

It works with loads and linear analysis, so I thought it would work with displacement curves and non-linear analysis.

After much trial and error, I was able to get it to work by reducing the polynomial degree to 2, increasing the iterations, and setting the U & V divisions to 15.
