is there any way to link the current CPlane to the current view, so I’m always looking perpendicular onto the CPlane?

I don’t think so… Why do you want to do this…? The command _CPlane _View can set it like that when you need, you could make a kbd shortcut for that…

People coming from ICEM Surf are used to move control points in the current view, without being restricted to the XY-component of the current CPlane. If there would be the possibility of such a linkage, it would be a great help for them.Cheers,

There’s an easier way, you don’t have to bother with the CPlane.
Try the command _DragMode with the View option.
