I’m back in the office and working through my messages.
Firstly, could you drop me an email to karorocam@gmail.com I’ll send you a trial license key so you can start testing.
Regarding a post to suit your Acorn controller, if I don’t already have something suitable available, I can custom write one for your machine. I’ll take a look after this and let you know.
The current version of KaroroCAM produces a single G-code file per operation. It’s not yet set up to chain multiple operations into a single file. For a bit of background, I originally created KaroroCAM as a replacement for Fusion in my own workflow. At the time, the machines I was using were single spindle with manual tool changes, so one operation per file matched that workflow.
That said, I’ve recently moved into a new workshop space and started rebuilding this machine:
The three spindles act as a tool changer, so in the near future I’ll be updating KaroroCAM to support multiple tools and operations within a single file.
Cheers,
DK
I’ve had a look at the requirements for an Acorn Centroid Plasma machine post and created a new post processor for KaroroCAM:
We should be good to go as soon as you send me an email.
Thanks,
DK
