Karamba initial strain

Dear, karamba friends.

I use karamba.
For the first time, I analyzed a straight beam using initial strain. Since I applied the initial strain so that the beam would contract, I expected the beam to be subjected to compressive forces, but the results of the analysis showed zero values for axial forces.
Why is the axial force zero even though I am applying an initial strain to a straight beam?
I share the ghfile

Hi, the default units are in m so you set the length to 2. Also, if you set the Tx end support then the initial strain does not do anything, as the support can simply move. Once you fix this, you can see the tension force.

Thanks for replying!
I see.
I knew that giving initial distortion is different from giving opposite axial forces of the same magnitude from both sides, but essentially, I don’t understand it.
