Hi!
I’m trying to model a high-rise building structure (mainly consisting of frame structures and floors). I attempted to use the “Nodal Displacements” component to calculate the horizontal displacement of points on each floor, then subtract the displacement of the lower floor to determine the “inter-story drift angle” of the building. However, the results seem incorrect (when I slightly increase the cross-section size, the calculation results change significantly).
Where might the issue be?

I am missing a certain plugin which i do not affects the model
one issue is that your floorplates are not connected to your beams
Using the mesh breps component, you can make sure that your floorplates are connected to the beams at their intersections:
However, you will now need to check your nodal displacements components as the points have changed.

I hope this helps
