Kangaroo pulley system

Hi,

I am trying to get my head around pulley systems described in the attached file.

The problem seems defined to me but mabe I am wrong. The systems as modeled here don´t seem to match reality. Where have I gone wrong? Also why does only the Zombie solver work?

With some very minor modifications to your definition it looks like it works-
Is this the intended behaviour?
(the sum of the lengths of the top 3 segments is maintained, while the slider controls the length of the lower vertical-ish line, and the right-most point is free to slide horizontally)

Yes this mostly works, thanks. I realized it´s the other conditions from the real world that seem to mess up the behaviour and these need to be defined also for the system to behave. Anyway, thank you :slight_smile:
