I’m currently using Grasshopper Kangaroo to drape a cloth over a specific object.
However, in some areas the Kangaroo cloth passes through the object. Even if I increase the mesh resolution of the cloth, the intersection still happens. Is there any way to fix this?
Also, is it possible to use the Kangaroo Floor component so that the cloth stops at a certain height (Z level) and rests on that plane, instead of falling through it?
The cloth mesh needs to be more dense but even then it falls through at some point… At least on the highest edge of the book you could cheat a bit and use anchor points along the edge
Thanks for your reply! If it’s okay, can I ask one more question about Kangaroo?
I made the script below because I wanted to wrap the car and the book like in the attached image. However, Kangaroo keeps failing to detect / wrap the back side.
Is this also something unavoidable, like the previous issue?
