I have these curves (they are a deckhouse of a daysailer). I create them using crv2view from top and side drawing. Then I rebuilt the curves to reduce the control point. Now I can easily create all the surfaces, but it gives me tons of naked edges. I assume that by rebuilding the curves moved a little bit and not I can’t get a closed surface…Zooming in on one of the places where 4 curves should come together reveals, that the end of the curves are a little bit apart (see seconds image).
Is there a command to move all the end points so the ends are in the same point?
you can either use the _Match command for pairs of curves or turn points on for all 4 curves, select the end points and use _SetPt command and click on the desired location.
Thank you very much @clement … it’s all about knowing the command for a task…didn’t know about either of the two, but I’m sure they will be good friends of mine from now
Note that “Rebuild” doesn’t move the ends of curves, it was your Crv2View workflow that caused that. It’s a tool I basically never use, I just draw my 3D curves in 3D.
