Join tangent curves

In order to join a lot of stupid Autocad curves and rebuild it to a curve with less control points, is there an option in Rhino to do that more or less automatically? In some commands Rhino can select tangent edge segments automatically, but join doesn’t have that feature.

Am I missing something?

Gerard, You can invoke the SelChain command from within Join. Then set ChainContinuity to Tangent.

Now I find out that the 1 degree curves are not tangent :wink:
However position continuity also works.
